Sandy Dupuis helped assemble the "Space Station Remote Manipulator System", commonly called Canadarm2. From the time she was a young girl she was fascinated by space exploration. Making her interest a career, she enrolled in the École des métiers de l'aérospatiale de Montréal.

In an interview at the school teacher Denis Marcoux explains that students learn about the structural assembly of aircrafts, the mechanical assembly of jet engines, and the electrical assembly of different components. The program again shifts to Sandy Dupuis at work at EMS Technologies Canada, a high-precision assembly factory situated on Highway 40 in Ste-Anne de Bellevue. Viewers can see that she enjoys her work in this non-traditional field for women.
