Cindy Lavallée is a student at John Abbott College (CEGEP) in the Engineering Technologies (Energy Management) program. As she works in the lab she explains that the three-year program is both theoretical and technical, enabling her to touch and build things as well as learn about them. Margaret Leach, Chair of Engineering Technologies explains that Energy Management Technology combines CEGEP-level electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering, with a lot of computer use. She notes that graduates have no difficulties finding employment.
