Land

The surface of the Earth may seem immobile, even static, but it is only an impression. Every day, there are at least 50 major earthquakes and a dozen volcanic eruptions. The Earth is therefore in perpetual motion, undergoing the effect of the forces that emerge from within. This journey to the center of the Earth reveals why geology is so important in our lives, whether we are aware of it or not.
